As CEO of CSD Engineering, Nestor Cardenas leads the firm’s overall project delivery, overseeing both design and project management operations across all developments. His role spans from early-stage planning through construction, ensuring that every project is aligned from a technical, operational, and execution standpoint. Nestor is directly involved in the coordination of all disciplines — bridging structural design, permitting, and construction management to maintain consistency and control throughout the project lifecycle. His leadership focuses on aligning teams, establishing clear direction, and ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and in line with the client’s vision. By combining design coordination with hands-on project oversight, Nestor ensures that every project is not only well-designed, but successfully delivered.

As Lead Project Manager at CSD Engineering, Gabriella Perez is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of projects from planning through construction. She works closely with consultants, contractors, and ownership to ensure that all aspects of the project remain coordinated, on schedule, and aligned with overall objectives. Gabriella plays a key role in maintaining project momentum — overseeing communication between all stakeholders, tracking progress, and proactively resolving issues before they impact the project timeline or budget. Her structured and detail-oriented approach ensures that projects move efficiently from phase to phase. By translating coordinated plans into real-world execution, Gabriella helps ensure that projects are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and with a high level of consistency.

Jessica Del Valle supports CSD Engineering through her work in design drafting and field inspections, helping ensure projects are both accurately documented and properly executed in the field. She assists in the preparation of detailed construction drawings, translating design concepts into clear, buildable plans that align with project requirements and code standards. In the field, she performs inspections to verify compliance with design documents, identify potential issues early, and support quality control throughout construction. Jessica’s dual role strengthens the connection between design and execution, contributing to well-coordinated, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Nelli Uzzell is a highly experienced design drafter at CSD Engineering, playing a critical role in the development of accurate, code-compliant construction documents. With a strong background in architectural and structural drafting, she translates complex design concepts into clear, buildable plans that support efficient project execution. Nelli leads the preparation of drawings and manages the permitting process, ensuring that submissions are complete, well-coordinated, and aligned with jurisdictional requirements. Her attention to detail and deep understanding of permitting workflows help streamline approvals and minimize delays. Her expertise and consistency make her a key contributor to the firm’s ability to deliver well-coordinated, high-quality designs from concept through approval.

Diego, a senior at the University of Miami, is part of CSD Engineering’s commitment to investing in future industry professionals. Through hands-on involvement in drafting, coordination, and project support, he is gaining real-world experience across both design and project execution. Our internship program is designed to provide meaningful exposure to the full project lifecycle — from early design coordination to construction-phase support — allowing students to develop practical skills beyond the classroom.
